Summer Programme in Seefeld
MONDAY: 10.00 am: INFORMATION ABOUT SEEFELD – CIRCULAR WALK
Alex will take you on a tour around Seefeld and tell you all the stories about
the Seekirchl, the Wildsee lake, the surrounding mountains, Seefeld's “Stonehenge“ and
the Kneipp area.
Meeting point: at the Music Pavilion in the Kurpark (pedestrian area)
Walking time: app. 2h, easy tour

TUESDAY: 10.00 am: SEE FARMERS’ LIFE – BEE NATURE TRAIL
Walk to the Gapphof: Maria will show us her garden with regional herbs, how
she
makes cottage cheese and more and an idyllic stream behind the farm. Short
walk on the
Hochleitenkopf with breathtaking view over the Inn valley. On the way back
we
stroll along the bee nature trail to Seefeld.
Meeting point: at the Music Pavilion in the Kurpark (pedestrian area)
Walking time: easy tour for about 4 hours.
Registration at reception necessary up to Monday evening!
16.00: BARBEQUE at the “Reither Jochalm“ with music entertainment
Join Alex and walk up to “Reither Jochalm” hut to enjoy a typical
Tyrolean
barbeque; Walk down to Seefeld.
Meeting point: Music Pavilion in the Kurpark,
Walking time up to the hut: app. 1,5 h, medium tour

WEDNESDAY: “Gleirsch Gorge“ in the KARWENDEL ALPINE PARK
We take the train to Scharnitz and walk on the path “Nederweg” along
to the impressive Gleirsch gorge. On our way back on the path “Gleirschweg” we
will have a stop at the “Wiesenhof” hut and then take the path “Isarsteig” back
to Scharnitz.
Meeting point: Train station Seefeld
Walking time: total time: about 4 ½ hours; medium tour, in the gorge
you should be surefooted.

THURSDAY: ON THE MOUNTAIN TOPS – Day trip for experienced mountain
walkers
Changing weekly tour, exciting and full of adventure - Alex will let you know
the tour at the beginning of the week. (For example: Rotmoosalm-Gaistal, Ederkanzel
and Lautersee in Mittenwald or the Wangalm-Leutasch.
Walking time depending on the tour: 4 – 6 hours
Tours are for experienced walkers - don´t forget yourwalking boots! No
registration necessary.
FRIDAY: “PURE NATURE“ – relaxing tour at the end
of the week
Enjoy the natural landscape and join Alex on this pleasant and easy walk. We
take the bus to Mösern and walk to the idyllic lake “Möserer
See”, further on towards Buchen to the traditional hut “Sonnplatzl
Hütte” (short stop); across the “Katzenlöcher” to
Leutasch-Moos and back to Seefeld by bus.
Meeting point: Hotel Karwendelhof (in front of the train station)
Walking time: easy tour about 3 ½ hours
No registration needed
